Gurgaon is one of the largest cities of Haryana. It is the most important corporate and industrial hubs
of Haryana. It is one of Delhi’s four major satellite cities is a part of National Capital Region of India.
It is the only Indian City where electrical connections are available to each and every house.. But what
makes a city a destination of choice for today’s urban worker is not only good working and capitalist
opportunities but also good “life after work”. That is, when it's time to chill out, today’s worker needs
requires multiplexes, malls, clubs and along with that safe civic environment.
Inspite the presence of many malls and restaurants in Gurgaon, it is placed 11th in in the Life after
work index due to its inferior roads and interrupted power supply. Sure, Gurgaon’s infrastructure
doesn’t quite live up to the city’s global aspirations as anyone caught in its traffic pile-up will vouch
for. But what counts in favor of the city is the third highest per capita income after Chandigarh and
Mumbai and the city’s employment growth rate is second only to Noida’s. Also termed as the Cyber
City, Gurgaon is the abode of well known off shoring and outsourcing business companies. It is the hub
of many corporate, MNCs and reputed educational institutions and schools .
